Rehabilitation Therapy is typically conducted in a one-to-one ratio, meaning that the Rehabilitation Therapist will work directly with the individual receiving support. As each person's needs, challenges and goals are different, Rehabilitation Therapy will be specifically adapted to the individual. A one-on-one Rehabilitation session typically occurs in the client's home, or their local community for two hours at a time. The length of treatment will be determined by the Board of Directors at Whitney Rehabilitation Support Services.
Each Rehabilitation Therapist employed by Whitney Rehabilitation Support Services is qualified in First Aid and CPR and will maintain liability insurance for transporting clients in their personal vehicle. Each Rehabilitation Therapist will maintain records of each client session and adhere to PHIPA guidelines, duty to report guidelines, as well as any other applicable healthcare acts and code of ethics.
